Poetry: Harmony

Butterfinger yogurt.
I was almost too afraid to try it.
It's awful, like I knew it'd be.
But I can't stop eating it.
I'm going to get fat.
But that's okay with me, I guess.

And I find myself reading other people's work.
Jon-Paul's good.
I don't know why I said that,
if he reads this, he'll think I'm a stalker now.
I'M NOT A STALKER.
Just to be clear.

And Joe.
Joe, sometimes Ray.
Whatever I call you.
That changes a lot.
But, then, you've changed a lot too.

I loved you.
Just though I'd throw that out there.
And I don't hate you.
But I really, really, really, really, really
wish I did.

This poem is awful.
Lately I can't write for shit.
I used to be good.
For my age.
I hate being good for my age.
It's not good enough.
I want to be good
for your age.

Okay, the end, then.
This isn't going anywhere anyway
