First Dates
Yes, the first date is by far the one date for genuine acquaintances. This is ware you find compatibility between you and your chosen date. Your first date is the screening process to determine whether the person you are dating will for fill that void of being involved with someone. It is also the time to gage the amount of physical, mental, and spiritual stimulation for "growth" that your date can or is capable of providing.

The first date is merely the quiz before the test. But, one should not grade this quiz on how well the person do on the date but how bad that person does. Why? Because we all know that at first sight the initial attraction is physical. All this means is that our primal instinct are dominating our actions, emotions and thoughts. Just as alpha males in the animal kingdom show their best physical qualities to win over the female to mate, so does the human when sex is the foundation for dating. As humans though; we must recognize that we are more than just mere animals. We do more than just mate which is unfortunately the accepted illusion of dating (i.e, for males, impressing the woman to get her in bed, for females, stroking his ego to get him to submit).

Male and female relations are far beyond reproduction or sexual gratification. We compliment each other above and beyond the physical realms of existence. We are designed to strengthen one another mentally and spiritually. This cannot be done by the illusion of first date impression syndromes. If we are to truly have significance in first dates it should be fun and adventurous while at the same time a self defense mechanism that will protect you from "game" (hormonal immaturity's of those dating for sex) as opposed to those who are dating for "TRUE LOVE" and mutual growth as human beings.

First dates should be the time to help you understand and KNOW what it is you are attempting to engage. It should help you build character and respect for the nature of sensual relations with others. It should not be the determining factor for having sex, that has already been resolved when you accepted the date! This is why it is important on the first date to learn what it is that your date dislikes or have a prejudice for. Find out what upsets your date and why they find offense to it because knowing what your date dislikes is what will give one the fore-knowledge of how strong the two of you can grow together as human beings. If your dislikes and or prejudices are not mutual, chances are the relationship will detour down a road of disappointments and misery.

On first dates we already know that we are physically attracted to each other otherwise we would not be going out in the first place. But we have been bamboozled as to what first dates are for. Thinking that it is a time to be swept off our feet or to conquer the quest of primal instincts when in reality it is a determining factor as to "who" and "what" am I getting involved with?
