When the call of the raven seems to hearld your demise
as you walk down the dark road to nowhere,
Follow your heart.

When a beautiful woman tempts all your senses
but the memory of a great woman beckons to you,
Follow your heart.

When the dirt poor soil won't give your your handful of seeds any shelter,
and the rains won't come to give their blessings.

Follow your heart.

When the Sirens sing you ears beautiful songs,
That will do nothing but distract you.
Follow your heart.

When your faith fails for lack of results,
and the arrows of black flames bombard your mind.
Follow your heart.

When you are faced with opportunity in the distant lands
and departure from the bosom of your family,
Follow your heart.

When your opponents strike you and spontaneous whoops of victory
erupts from their midst,
Follow your heart.

When the spear of pain lodges into your heart
with the thrust of betrayal,
Follow your heart.

When the good times start failing
and and explanation take flight,
Follow your heart.

When circumstances present the judge before you with facts
that mock your beliefs and dreams,
Follow your heart.

Follow your heart.
It is the beacon that guides you in goodness.
