Here is a list of some guys who I would put on my all time list. Your list may be different but I guess no one's list would be exactly the same as anyone else's.
1. The Steve Austin - (The Six Million Dollar Man ) - With his speed and power he would easily be a 5 tool player, and with that vision he would have a superior batting eye.
2. Popeye - I saw an episode that Popeye was able to pitch and catch at the same time ! He would be a guy that can play anywhere on the field with that kind of ability and would really be valuable if you had a lot of injuries being able to play two positions at the same time.
3. Superman - Not only would he be a 5 tool player with his speed and power but he would be a tremendous asset in the outfield because any ball on its way out of the park could be caught and brought back in with his ability to fly. His x-ray vision may come in handy at times too. If he learned how to read lips, he could see what the pitcher is saying to the catcher when he covers his face with his mitt.
4. Jaime Sommers - ( The Bionic Woman ) - I know I said this would be a list of guys but it would be difficult not to put her on this list. She also has great speed and power and her exceptional hearing ability would be great for over hearing what the opposing team is planning throughout the game. I would also pitch her every forth day and have her in relief the other three if needed, because she would be a great right hander with that bionic arm and wouldn't need much rest.
5 Babe Ruth - He was as great of a hitter that God will allow and would have been a hall of fame left handed pitcher if he never played everyday. No athlete in history could say that.
6. Ty Cobb - This guy batted .367 lifetime and stole 892 bases. He stole home plate 54 times ! He batted over 400 three times and batted over .320 for 23 straight seasons. With this guy leading off in this lineup, this team would break records scoring runs.
7. Lou Gehrig - When it came to clutch hitting, few would be mentioned in the same sentence with him. He still has the AL record with 184 RBI's in 1931. He also has the career record of 23 Grand Slams. Get into scoring position and this is the guy you want at the plate.
8. Roy Hobbs (The Natural) - Any guy that can homer and put out all the stadium lights has to go on my list.
9. Nolan Ryan - This guy pitched seven no hitters and struck out 5714 batters !
Honorable Mention list: Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Ted Williams, Bugs Bunny, Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle.
Guys left off for various reasons:
Barry Bonds - (No cheaters allowed)
The Incredible Hulk - (He is too big to fit in the batters box).
Batman ( He isn't even strong. He is only batman because of that costume, car and that belt with the gadgets in it). I bet he throws like a girl.
Spiderman (I don't see how swinging from webs will help him play baseball).
