The value of people's opinions

opinion, one that is amplified by rage. So, does this mean that our society lives and works off opinions and how much the amplified one outweighs the others? The answer is yes. This means that the world cannot exist the way it does without The Inner Ring' (which concept was created by Clive Staples Lewis in his essay The Inner Ring').

There are several people who do not wish to read on, there are many who read the first paragraph and deserted this document because it looked boring, or they did not have enough time. There are some who are required to read this because they lost a bet, or even because (and I flatter myself in this) it is assigned by an educator to his or her students. To those who are still reading, I congratulate you as much as you may despise reading my run-on sentences or noticing that outrageously bad grammar I constantly use.

Hitler did not like having Jews in his country. At first he was imprisoned and wrote Mein Kampf.' Later, after his prison days, Hitler still disliking the Jews in his country finally gained power using other peoples' rage and eventually killed millions of Jews in his concentration camps (after finding out that there was not enough room in the other countries.) Hitler, due to his disgusting accomplishments, became a hated man for generations afterward and centuries to come. Now, due to a single opinion, hundreds of millions of people that would have been born from those Jews killed in the Holocaust will not have the life that was meant for them.

I do not write this to say that opinions can only be problematic, I write this to make the point that some opinions need to be looked at logically. Human beings have found by experience that we like to jump to conclusions and act on instant whims only because we feel too comfortable with our own emotions. It is time, I think, that people learn how to control themselves and actually think through their opinion and change it as logic dictates. This method will not only allow for greater social skills, but also to find peace and harmony more abundantly. Life is not meant to be lived out fighting over who's right and who's wrong. Life, in my opinion, is meant to be lived in harmony with others because everyone is able to create their opinions out of sound logic and know when to fight for it, or surrender it.
