Lightning
The rain started out as just a drizzle. It came down slowly and not at all hard. Just then I heard a huge boom and the rain came pounding down. I was riding my bike with my friend and my brother when the hail came down. I was hit in the face by a small piece and turned sideway's and slid a few feet. I slid right by some trees. Water splashed up my legs because of all the puddles scattered across the sidewalks behind the houses. My friend and brother came riding up behind me. Several big booms rang through my ears. "There is a lot more to come." I said. "Ya, we should get back to the house." Said my friend. "And fast" Said my brother. "Let's go!" I said. We rode by some row of trees. Just then an extremely loud and ear piercingly high. It flashed pink and there was a massive rumble. I was blinded with pink fading to black. I was still riding and picking up speed. I tried for my brakes and I missed them I went straight into a tree. I fell. My hearing and sight came back an instant later. My friend and brother were riding toward me. I got up and mounted my bike. I rode back to my house and went inside. I watched outside the window until the storm had passed and the blue skies came out from the black.
