If I knelt before you
My eyes puffy and red from crying
Would you take me in your arms and comfort me?
If I knelt before you
Carrying all of my burdens
Would you take them from me?
If I knelt before you
With my face of shame
Would you accept me as your child?
If I knelt before you
Begging and pleading forgiveness
Would you take me in and forgive me of my sins?
If I just knelt before you
Wanting to be with you
Would you accept me still?

and agreed to
