We,as women- all want someone who will care when we are down, someone who will be up when we are but lets not lose sight of the fact that...a little cowboy has its charms.When the cowboy comes to mind- its usually a visual thing...the hat,broad shoulders and muscular physique, perfect for crying on the shoulder of or being carried over the threshold...but-all those 'long hours' out on the range can get pretty lonely for those of us left at home to cook.
To my way of thinking...I have both. My husband is the broad shouldered physical presence of the cowboy coupled with ,the energy and vitality of the physical labor I love to watch...traditionally accepted , of the 'cowboy life.'However, he also has a drive for the close home life we share and desire to provide for us while letting me be my own person.
It's all about timing...when I'm late-he keeps the home fires burning and when he's held up on the range...I build the fire and keep it going. We take turns with having the slippers ready for our partner.
Personally...I prefer his metro sexual side...as a writer-income can be intermittent- to say the least.
