One could give advice for the journey of life but what good is advice when everyone's life is different. Sure we go through some of the same things and experience the same emotions but yet we all express life's matters in different ways, leaving advice to being like candy on the coffee table. Some will take a piece of it and some will not. Some will enjoy the savoring and others will spit it out. In short, it will either be picked up or left alone but as long as we can get one point across that will be adhered too then we have done our job as an adult or friend.

Being honest with ourselves would be a great start but not many people can even be honest with themselves and most people really won't admit to being wrong. There are several things in life we all do according to scientific researches but when asked by our peers if we have ever; the answer is generally no. When someone knows the truth and we lie about it, no matter how embarrassing, all we have done was thrown trust away which is a vital part of life. However, we all know that there are not many people in this world one can trust and we fail to realize that not being honest with ourselves causes us not to be able to trust ourselves.
No certain definition has ever been given to us about life but we do that life is how we live. Everyone lives different, therefor there are thousands of avenues to go down with advice on every corner. If one did happen to need some advice then they should go to one who has the expertise of the field in which requires help. For example; if one needed to know how to make money, would they go to the one standing on the corner who is holding a cup or would they go to a financial officer? If one wanted to know how to act rich, would they go to the trashy house on the left or the fancy house on the right? The point I am trying to get across here and the advice I am trying to give is we must to search ourselves for advice, for no one else can give us the correct advice on our own life.
Should we pick up someone else's advice; let's say we were debating a cruise to the Bahamas on our vacation or staying at home and we asked our buddy for the advice of which to do and they said take the trip. While on the trip we got mugged and lost all our credit cards and the trip was a total disaster; was that good advice for the trip? Not hardly, we would have been better off at home. Now if they said to stay home and then we hear on the news the ship we were going to take had given each patron a reimbursement for their cruise; again did they give good advice? Not hardly again, we could have had a free cruise and in both of these incidents we would blame our friend for bad advice when in fact they had given what they thought to good advice.
I realize this topic is about the advice on the journey of life and I have given an article about advice, but in the lines you can see that the advice I have given for the journey is to take no one else's advice and to be your own guide. We already know what is right and what is wrong but to do the right thing for ourselves is solely based upon our own decisions. And as stated when it comes to advice, one can either pick this one up or leave it alone.
