The Eclipse looks nothing like a kayak - it is too bold and too daring. Sharply-edged ends break the helpless waters as the kayakist in it paddles fiercely.
An expedition kayak, the Eclipse gives the kayakist an impression that it is fast, sensitive and cool. Indeed, the Eclipse's build alone yields some clue to its performance in water. Beneath the striking design of the Eclipse, though, is one of ergonomic considerations too.
The seat is really comfortable - it does not feel like a kayak at all seriously.
However, because of the expertise it takes to steer this fearless watercraft, I do not advise beginners to buy and use this craft. Prior experience in paddling with similar kayaks would be a must before it can be safe enough to say that one is qualified to ride on the Eclipse. Yet if one is indeed qualified for it, he will find the Eclipse to be his favourite kayak in no time.
