The ball swishing back in forth as i snake around the field. The goal is right there, resting on the low cut sparkling grass. I pause for a brief second. Dark clouds roll in, but that does not stop the game from going on. Fans soaking wet in the bleachers are shouting furiously at my action. I spin around, and realize that one second is what can cause me thew game. I fall to the ground, knees scraped, my ankle felt as though a thousand prickly needles were being injected furiously into my body. I didn't bother holding back my tears for, i blended in with the rain sloshing down. For a slit second, it felt as though the world was paused. It only took me sometime of a second to realize the ball was coming at me, fast. Yelping in frustration, brought my foot up, and with all the life it had left in it, i took that ball, and kicked between the legs of the goalie, and into the net. The scoreboard flashed endlessly, as fans pored onto the field. Another win. Another miracle from the game of soccer.
