OVERACHIEVER, that's how Outside Magazine address Wave Sport EZG. In their 2005 buyer's guide, Frederick Reimers wrote: "This boat's predecessor, the EZ, proved stable and easy to paddle yet was up for the latest tricks. And with a new, narrower cut and a hull tweaked for freestyle moves, the 2005 EZG improves on the formula".

Wave Sport EZG is a combination of river running characteristics found classic EZ series meshed with high performance play features from ZG series. Overall, it is a great river runner boat. It also enable you to have fun with rapid maneuverability.

Featuring the EZ boat's characteristics, Wave Sport EZG is great on the water. Easy to handle in big rapids but will also do very well in large holes. But, the shape of the hull will catch edge and flip you. So, better master the rolling technique well before playing with it.

It is a quite comfortable kayak although your legs sit straighter rather than bent. The seat back is a little hard to adjust. But, you can customize the cockpit to your ease.

At present, there are three types of Wave Sport EZG available in the marketplace. They are: EZG 42 (Dimension 198x61cm, Weight 14kg & Paddler Weight 36-64kg), EZG 50 (Dimension 201x64cm, Weight 14.5kg & Paddler Weight 59-86kg), and EZG 60 (Dimension 206x66cm, Weight 15kg & Paddler Weight 82-109kg).

Their relatively big dimension fits the name 'multi purpose boat'. But never mind their quite big body as they are great river runner boat and fast on waves. It is sharp enough to do most flat-water moves with the calm water. At the same time though, it is enough to hold up against even the nastiest waves.

However, Wave Sport EZG simply a perfect combination of the classic EZ and playful ZG in a user friendly, high performance, river running play machine.
