Poetry: Storms

"I shall fear no evil"

When all you feel about you are the
sticky webs of deceit,
and the darkness lingers on you 'til
nothing feels complete,
yes, your tears may fall, but don't
you think it's in vain,
all this we must endure as it
brings its share of pain,
it will be as sorrows raining down
from on high,
and as much as we'll want to leave
it there'll be no way to try,
for within this valley Death's shadow
stalks us one and all,
but you should wait, the patience of
a saint, to hear a call,
this call will start as a still small voice
inside your head,
and grow in strength until you think
that you are dead,
but rest assured the voice will say,
"Be still, for I am your LORD,
fear not," these words as notes will
strike and touch your soul's true cord.
