Every woman has felt the pressure to be beautiful. However, beautiful is not always what us women believe it to be. Society does put only the beautiful women in most acting roles and magazines. However, if you actually took a poll from men they would tell you that what you seem to think of as beautiful is not what most of them are looking for. Women are looking to celebrity society for what is normal, when everything about them and their lives isn't normal. Men don't want a woman that will crush underneath him or that he cant horse around with. Yes, some do like the dainty little women, but a lot of them find that women with curves and tone are a lot better looking to them. Women who have full figures and curves and go natural with the make up attract far more than the too thin, overly made up women. Because the too thin, overly made up woman is too fake for them to find interest in. I find my self on occasion looking at the beautiful women I wish I looked like and feeling the pressure to want to look like them. However, I am smart enough to realize that I am attractive in my own right for not looking like them and being myself. I also find, that women who learn to admire themselves and love the things about themselves that are unique tend to draw more people to them than the perfect Barbie doll type. So yes the pressure to be beautiful by society reeks havoc, but we women can over come it if we start to let go of what we think society wants and find beauty in ourselves.
