As a retired Medical Tech I want to recommend Claritin as a treatment for allergies. I worked as an Ophthalmic Tech for over 25 years and part of that time I worked right beside an Ear, Nose & Throat clinic. As all medical personnel know, the nurses and techs talk a lot about medications and what is good and what is not so good. I had horrible allergies to pollens and mold. I desperately needed to stay alert. The Ear, Nose & Throat doctor gave me samples of Claritin (Loratadine tablets) and they worked better than any other allergy medication I had ever tried. At that time Claritin was a prescription drug. Fortunately it is now an over the counter drug and easy to purchase. I don't bother taking any other type of antihistamine. I do try to stay healthy and take vitamins and herbs to help my allergies, but sometimes the mold and pollens are just too much for my system. That is when I reach for the Claritin tablets and now they have one that dissolves under your tongue without water; how convenient is that! Down here in the Texas Hill Country we have had severe flooding and rains that are causing a ton of molds and pollens to cause a lot of attacks. They should put Claritin in the survival packs - no kidding.

Shering Corporation developed Claritin and they have my gratitude. It has eased my symptoms without any drowsiness and I don't have to remember to take a pill every four hours. I would recommend it to any allergy sufferers out there. It also helps the watery, itching eyes that accompany allergy attacks. There is no need to suffer attacks anymore; just try Claritin. I think you will love the relief. I sure did and still do!
