Comfort in a red bandanna and a knife
A combo fit for survival
Scrawled on paper
My message to the world
Not my last cry
No scream tonight
Tears won't fall from these eyes
At least not this night
I'll see the sunrise
Red on the horizon
The color I've made the night
My only comfort this time around
Tomorrow will be different
But only because tonight wasn't
