Poetry: Individuality

I march to the beat,
To my own drum.
Others point and laugh,
They think I am dumb.

I go where I want,
I do what I please.
I am not afraid,
To just me be.

I don't look,
Like everyone else.
I am happy,
Just being myself.

I won't conform,
And live a lie.
I do what I can,
And all I can do is try.

I don't follow a leader.
I let no one set my rules.
As far as I'm concerned,
I will always be cool.

I am one in a million,
I stand proud.
I am an individual,
I am proud.
