Essays: The human mind


To maintain order, it is necessary to have laws to follow. Is it always necessary, however, to follow these laws? Should the human mind be repressed?
Man's perverse mind is a deep sea of thoughts and messages. Messages that he feels should be washed ashore and shared with all that is willing to listen. But why is this interposed? We are forbidden to speak the truth in its entirety, although it shall set you free. The law represses our perverse minds; hiding them behind thick, steel bars, this way there is no opposition. Destroy opposition and destroy individualism.


What is a perverse mind? Is it that which seeks to express thoughts about lie, freedom, happiness, to a man who preaches war, violence and ignorance? Is it that which wishes to escape repression, lies, and submission? (We call those minds criminal minds, detrimental to the health of society). A perverse mind is merely a mind that seeks to find its own path in a bemused and complicated in itself, perhaps a mind too complicated to be expressed.
"To gain that which is worth having, it may be necessary to lose everything else." Bernadette Devlin. We all wish to be free and gain what our hearts desire something of lasting worth. We might have to sacrifice it all, even if that means our minds will being hidden behind thick, steel bars.
