IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON

We haven't been getting along lately, and I don't know if things will get any better
I've tried so hard to keep this relationship together but I cannot pretend any longer
I don't mean to hurt you, but I don't love you anymore, and it's time to move on
We are holding on because we are comfortable, and afraid of being alone

I am not happy, and for months, there has not been any peace in this home
I am on pins and needles when it's time for you to come through that door
At that moment, is when I realized I was not in love with you anymore
I'm tired of the fussing, fighting, making up, and repeating the same routine
This back and forth has been driving me crazy, and I need to focus on me
Although we are moving on, I will still be there to support my family
I would like to be civilize and put the kids needs first
When I'm not there refrain from the name calling, this will only make matters worse
We can talk to the kids to help them adjust to this new change
Let's assure them this has nothing to do with them
Some things we will need to rearrange
I've tried so hard to make it work, no matter what, I wish you the best
For now, it's time to move on so my mind, body, and soul can rest.
