If a person lives long enough then he will undoubtedly encounter some hardships.
the best advice a person can have in dealing with life's hardships is to remember what
it says in the scriptures. It says that, "greater is he who is in me, than he who is in
the world."
No matter how severe the hardship is, one must always remember the promises of God and that he(God) has already triumphed over every obstacle in life. There is nothing
in life, including hardships, that God cannot overcome.
Although God does not promise that a person will not experience hardships. He
does however promise to go through the hardship with you. It says that God is a present
help in the time of need. In that moment, when life's hardships seem to crash down
upon ones life, There also is God! He is there to comfort, protect and sustain all his
children through the multiple vicissitudes and unexpected obstacles in life.
God gives us as his children the strength and courage to deal with all of life's hardships. All God asks is that we believe in him. Also, we must call on him when we come into hardship. Many times, the hardships that we as humans encounter are a result of our own unwise decisions. In this case, the advice would be to educate oneself so that in the future he/she will not make the same unfortunate decisions.
In the case of an unexpected hardship, we can be more than certain that God is using the hardship to work for the good of his child. Nothing goes without explanation in Gods' sight. Sooner or later the hardship will produce into a harvest of more peace, wisdom and understanding.
