Clint Eastwood is always great with the one liners, particularly in the Dirty Harry series: How about this for a good put down:

"You wanna play the game, you better learn the rules - love." Dirty Harry - with suitable air of menace - to Liam Neeson's bad guy character in 'The Dead Pool'
