Kick the Earth
I want to kick
the Earth,
not a clod
the whole planet,
one single swing
like the powerful
right leg of the kid
who smashes the
red ball on the
playground at recess
until the Earth sails
through the air and
over the fence for
a home run, or possibly
a ground-rule double
if it bounces first
