What purpose does the fourth of July holiday have? Many of us get out our red, white and blue, light up our grills and watch the fireworks and parades, but how many of us really understand what this celebration means. Those of us who do understand may need to consider again the wonders of this celebration that may have become just another holiday after many years of celebration. We also need to understand the purposes of this holiday so that we can teach them to our children, passing down the legacy to future generations that we may continue to celebrate this date in our great country.
