For anyone that wants to know how to get free cash for college I will tell you, I was also leave all of the lies and myths at the door.
The first way to get cash for college, which is one we all should know, is to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application For Federal Student Aid). For Undergrads you can get applications in your high school guidance office. For everyone you can go on-line and fill out one for free at www.fafsa.ed.gov This application is free for everyone. It is a very long, and boring application but definitely worth it in the end, because most people receive some type of financial assistance for college from the government. There are two methods to filling out a FAFSA, on-line, or on paper. They recommend doing it on-line because it is much faster and safer than the paper application. So remember, fill out the FAFSA, its free money, and probably the source for the most free money that the majority of people are going to receive for their college education. All money received from FAFSA does not need to be re-paid.

The second way to get cash for college is scholarships. There are many great websites and college scholarship searching websites such as www.collegeboard.com, www.fastweb.com, and www.scholarships.com, just to name a few. Anyone can get scholarships, do not think you are exempt. There are many different scholarships for everyone, you will fit into more than just one of those categories. Remember, there are many scholarship websites that are fake. If a college website is asking you to give them money then you probably should not use that website. Also many people think that they cannot get scholarships because everyone else just gets them, thats also a myth. If you do not get scholarships you are not working hard enough, it may take a few weeks or months. You need to work at it and apply to many of them. There are scholarships out there for you, please do not doubt them. There is hundreds of thousands of dollars out there in scholarship money, get your hands on some of that cash! And remember, you do not need to pay a scholarship back.
A third option to getting free money for college is loans. Unlike the FAFSA/Financial Aid and Scholarships, loans unfortunately do need to be paid back. Remember, when looking for loans, please check the government federal PLUS loan, they will give you the best deal on a loan for college. Secondly check college oriented websites such as www.collegeboard.com, www.salliemae.com, and www.upromise.com, they will
