Poetry: Feelings

Poison Apple

Poisoned again,
Leave my flesh.
Let it rot and spoil.

A kaleidescope of torment.
Why do you stay?
Why do I stay?

The poison spreads.

Haven't we walked this path before?
Why must we revisit?

Drama you crave,
Drama I despise.
Truth is real.
Lies are drama.

Will you poison our apple?
Will you lie to it as well?
Will you take small bites of it?
Allowing it never to heal,
As you've done to my soul.

All is not fair,
All is not well.
You have poisoned me with Hell.
