Winter Comes
Skies so clear and dark,
with speckled groups of stars,
the night sun in the shadows,
and the flickering light of mars.
With every single breath,
the air begins to freeze.
A wolf in the distance,
calls out, in the cool night breeze.
Calling to the others, saying,
winter will soon be here,
get ready for the icy days,
that brings hunger, snow and fear.
Soon food will be scarce,
this, there is no doubt.
little ones, keep your gathering,
as you climb and run about.
The chattering of the chipmunk,
and the chirping of the sparrow,
warn, the others of the cold,
and how the path will start to narrow.
Winter is the time of year,
to become aware of what's around.
He is the harshest of the seasons,
especially, the freezing of the ground.
But, his wrath will pass and
the frozen lands will cease.
The winds will stop their howling
and the land will be at peace.
So watch Mother Earth closely,
soon the buds will sprout,
as Spring begins her thaw,
All Our Relatives will come out.

Poetry: Nature's seasons
Apollo, how you drive your chariot across the sky
That blazes with the Summer's sun
And nurtures life for all that run
This

Nature's seasons are four in all,
Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall.
Varied, exciting colorful and real,
nature's seasons
Nature's seasons
Winter, cold, icy, full of snow
Toddy for the body, don't you know
Just a wee bit of Irish Whiskey
To keep
by Shirley Love
SPRING creeps up slowly, then bursts forth in glory,
Nurtures new life and rejuvenates old.
SUMMER is lazy, days hot and hazy,
Heat
Seasons
The turning leaves float on the breeze
Among the changing colors of the trees
The autumn sky goes on and on
Fallen leaves
