Of course women are preferred to men. As a man, I have seen many changes in past years that have lead me to this result. Allow me to rant for a few minutes here...

In the past few decades, men have lost much of their previous, shall we call them, "tendencies" in the way we act and react toward women. Don't get me wrong, I have been successfully raised by a woman and have learned that these changes were to protect the feelings of others. But that doesn't make them any less obvious. If man was the preferred gender, than men everywhere would be able to do and say whatever we want. As the immediate effect of our mother's cultural pressures, we have accepted that a woman is worth just as much as a man, and in many cases, worth indeed more than a man.

Take, for example, a man in a relationship. He has grown to feel obligated to treat a woman better than he himself may be getting treated. He will, if under the right pressures, go in the store and ask 300 questions about tampons. He will buy a present on "special" occasions, regardless of how "special" it really is (two-week anniversaries are not annual ladies), or, at least feel remorse to the bone if, God forbid, he were to forget to do so.

Also, let's look at the common man and woman in workplaces. Now, granted, some workplaces a man and woman are really equal. But let's face facts: both genders, generalized, of course, are powerful in different ways. A man's mind is not like a woman's, and vice versa. Sometimes, an employer should make a decision based on gender. In many cases, the job may be better suited for this type or that type, based upon strengths and weaknesses. Don't jump down my throat, however, I did say sometimes.

Finally, let's look at sexual relationships. I don't know how it is for the world, but my experiences have led me to believe that in bed, I am much easier than my partner. I think that perhaps men are more easily satisfied, and women, I feel for you, I do, but you have all sorts of "toys". Not that I'm saying that a toy might be a better suited partner than, well, a partner. But you do have to admit that women have so many more options than that of a man. Now, who does society, a society that is more often based on sex than anything else, who does society prefer?
