"Lust's Bemoaning Brutality"

You inevitably exhausted all of my patients
by reaffirming a physiological incompatibility about which I already knew.
You arbitrarily reigned over my conscience
by beguiling me into thinking that I could be with you.

You made an infinitesimal part of my day potently worthwhile
by unjustly exploiting my fixations forthwith.
You made me suppress emotions whose ends I couldn't reconcile
by inadvertently insinuating that my emotional drudgery begot pith.

But I know you will indubitably claim innocence
while you ponder deception despite of the gavel's diffidence.
As you disclaim ownership of this remonstrance,
I hereby establish credence that you still proclaim consistence.

Heaven knows 'twere better that I face you
and detestably utter words instead of which I could frailly fight in lieu.

But how impervious is a heart with no eye's perceptibility,
With absolutely no awareness of lust's bemoaning brutality?
