When your man leaves you for another woman, it is without a doubt one of the hardest things a girl will ever go through. The questions that run around in your head! What's wrong with me? What could I have done differently? What does she have that I don't have? What happened to "til death do us part"? These are just a few of the hundreds of questions that go through your mind as you try to figure it all out and pick up the pieces.

It happened to me six years ago, after twenty years of marriage and three children. Never saw it coming. I was devastated beyond belief. I tried everything to get him back, including loosing ninety pounds. And it worked, for awhile. once I begged him to come back. The second time I let him come back. And in the end, I left for good. I finally figured out that it really didn't have anything to do with me. He hit a point in his life where monogamy didn't matter anymore, but playing games did. It took me longer than it should have to get there, but i finally realized my own self worth.
I pulled myself up be the bootstraps, moved to another state, and started my life anew. Within three months I had a good job and had bought my own house. What a feeling! In less than a year I had reunited with my high school sweetheart (who is also my oldest daughters Dad) and moved back to California where I grew up. Life has never been better! We are now engaged, and looking forward to raising his nine year old son together.
So ladies, take it from me, there is hope after your man cheats. And more often than not, it turns out to be the best thing that could ever happen to you. I believe that everything in this life happens for a reason. You just have to be patient, and the good will find you!
