Regardless of which region, there has been a sharp decrease in the number of nurses in the world. Whilst being nurses is not the most glamorous job there is, yet it is one of the most demanding occupations there is to be in existence today. The level of difficulty is further increase by the ever-growing demand by patients as services have been in focused for almost every sector, especially health care.
The sharp decrease in nurses pursuing their career in hospital as well as clinic general care is largely to be attributed by increasing demand for nurses in other health care organization. Although people from some quarters believe it that one deterring factor for being a nurse, is that this job is perceived as a dirty and stressful job. So more and more trained nurses moved to places that are less challenging like private clinics, private medical center as well as pharmacies. The main factor that caused trained nursed to move out of hospital is probably monetary turns and work benefits. There is not much of an attractive remuneration package in hospital and clinics, which is directly opposite in the case for more specialized private health care entities.
However, it has been debated that individuals who are still in nursing lines is due to the fact that they are aspired to provide care and attention to people who needs it, and not monetary gain and prospect.
