Once a cup is cracked, it is hard to mend. Water may still leak out from the cup if it is not mended properly. Crack lines can still be seen and using the cup everyday reminds you of how the cup was being broke. However, you never throw the cup away for your own reason(s.

A broken marriage is like the broken cup. A husband who cheats is breaking the happiness of a happy marriage. The worst is when the cheated husband left the home and desert the wife and the children. There are many husbands who cheat on their wives. Some had affairs but manage to conceal what they are doing. Others are not able to conceal their affairs, but is being discovered by their wives.

Even though many women would say that they would divorce their husband, they would leave their husband and that they will not forgive their husband if they find their husband to be cheating, when the real situation arises, it is a totally different story. It is easy for married couple to go their separate ways when there are no children involved in their marriage. However, when there are children involved, it is often very hard to decide on the fate of a marriage.

Looking after children, be it one or two or three, requires a lot of attention paid to them as well as care and money to be spent on them. To bring up the children alone by a spouse alone is very hard. In addition, children do not have a 'perfect' family if there is no father around. For these reasons, some women would have their husband back even though their husband cheated on them.

In addition, many women cannot face up to the stigma of being a divorced woman. They might be afraid of being 'viewed' differently by other people. Furthermore, religion such as Catholic regards divorce as committing adultery.

The ultimate reasons for women to go back to their husband is mainly that of their children and religious reason. There are always plenty of 'better' guys out there. There are always people who are better than our husbands who cheat. It is not that women cannot live without these cheating husband. It is because we want our children to have a perfect family life. We want the children to have father love as well as mother love.

Thus, in short, women go back to their husbands who cheat for the sake of children and for religious reason. If there is no children involved, I would think no woman would want their husband to be back!
