Theory Henry is a great player well respected by his soccer mates and fans especially Arsenal fans. He actually scored great goals and is a delight to watch for all soccer fans whenever he plays. His move to Barcelona will of course strengthen Barcelona but at the same time will weaken Arsenal in my opinion.
This is because for Arsenal i believe they will lose another inspirational player and captain. Arsenal, being a young team needs all his experience and guidance especially with the departure of the ex-captain Patrick Viera and his friends like Emannuel Petit. However, although they have the Brazilian captain Gilberto Silva to guide them i still think that he's not that inspirational. I believe people like Fabregas are talented players but need guidance and inspiration especially when they are on the field and the odds are against Arsenal.
As for Barcelona, needless to say is that their attacking will improve tremendously with the likes of Messi, Ronaldinho, Eto and now Henry. Barcelona's opponent will find it tough to shackle all these world class players as they have their unique style in attack and scoring goals. But the big question is that can all these world class players gel or will they flop like the previous Real Madrid team which comprises of Zidane, Raul, Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos where they failed to win any silverware. Another flaw is that Barcelona might be more powerful in their attacking with the insertion of Henry but what about their defense?
As for Henry to Barcelona, i think he made the right move considering his age and the prospect of the Arsenal team. However, frankly i do not quite fancy that he's citing Wenger as the reason for him to leave. I believe that if the player wants to transfer, it's because of his willingness and desire instead of someone else.
