Valentine's Day is finally here!
Soon my love's desire will be made clear,
Roses, wine, a diamond ring,
Oh my, oh my, what will he bring?
He works so hard, I can't deny,
I know I'm the apple of his eye.
When he gets in, he'll soon see,
Just what his love means to me.
I'll rub his back, and then his feet,
Then whip up his favorite treat.
Ice cold Coors and a pack of Mounds,
For supper, bacon by the pound.
It's five o'clock, he's nearly here,
I've been sure to ice down the beer.
I've ironed my apron, straightened my hair,
Wearing my best girdle under ware.
The house is clean, the TV tuned,
It's Fox News with Britt Hume.
There he is! There's his truck,
He he comes, I'm just love struck.
I close my eyes, just dying to see,
What my love has brought for me.
He passes by, "Happy Valentine's Day".
"I picked you up something along the way"
"It's in my lunch box",
"Open it up and see."
"Something special.."
"To you from me."
My heart beast fast, I open the box.
All I see is Maalox.
"Honey, I do not see."
"Is Maalox all you got for me?"
"No silly, don't be so catty,"
"For you, I got the peanut patty."
