You are my strength
When my legs are too weak to stand
You are my shield
When life throws more than I can handle
You are the breath
That gives me this life I don't deserve
You are the treasure
That awaits me on the other side of this rainbow of life
You are the water
That quenches my eternal thirst
And you are the bread
That fills the hunger for you
You are the light that guides me on this path that I can't see
A path fill with danger that I can't imagine
And unleashes fears I never knew existed
But I continue on knowing you will illuminate my walk as I go on
And when he darkness is overwhelming and I turn back
You are still there with your arm around my shoulder
directing me back to this path
And though I am afraid of what lies beyond
I push forward knowing you are right there
Because I know who you are
You are a rock, a wall, a guiding LIGHT
