"Down Upon His Knees"
Twice had Heaven's Miracle found itself locked outside of his mind,
But never has the thought entirely left his mind.
In reverential disregard had he often vainly used his Maker's name
To justify an allegedly unrighteous penalty wrought out in disdainful Providence.
Out of his mother's womb he was graciously sown,
And day-by-day has his mother grievously considered wishing him ingrown.
Praying was something that he found hard to do,
As he spent time assailing his troubles and evacuating tension in lieu.
Having found the reason for which he is unable to pray,
He accepts his unworthiness of cursed malpractice in which he is....
Head held low in recognition of duplicity,
He holds his head high in search of his Destroyed City.
In dim light in a raised picture evoking imperfectly the Work of He
Looms something that he blindly squints in search of diligently.
