"Darkened Abysses that O'erlook Fact!"
Astride he walks among the masses
Of which he composes one to a dozen asses.
Down upon the worn cement he stares:
Lo and behold he thinks everyone cares!
Upon a radiant sight he sets his plea,
Scurrying upon a sight his eyes claim to see.
When o'erlooked he sees the blue sky:
O how such clouds could float so nigh!
Into another's eyes he stares on:
The words into and out of his brain provoke a yawn.
Anything that wrestling could unleash on a lawn?
His true capability is set as a pawn.
For the struggle that has yet to unfold
Is an insurmountable Mountain, or so he was told.
He sees it thus effected all around him, even in old.
So in somebody else's likeness he tries himself mold.
Seeing all floor and not so much wall,
He tries in his mind lay it tall.
But reality beckons he to crawl:
All in his mind is that which makes him stall.

Like when you were little, life is so brittle
As perceptions change, old views
by Tara Alsup

The reason for so much pain
Instead of a good effect on you
I only create a stain
Corrupting all that's
