Invade or immigrate, well that depends on how you look at it. When anyone from another country comes to the US, they need to do it in a legal way. When Mexicans scurry across the border illegally, they are invading. Coming in under the radar and worming their way into our society. I know this sounds so racist, but hear me out before you judge me.

I have absolutely no problem with anyone wanting to better their situation. There is nothing wrong with wanting to provide a better way of life for your loved ones and yourself. Let's face it; today you have to take care of yourself and what's yours. I just feel that the saturation of illegal immigrants is causing a tremendous burden on our society and economy. Every day you see or hear in the news where another company is closing down and moving operations to Asia or South America. My question, if all the Hispanics are coming over here, who's doing the work?

Whether or not you want to admit it, but every time an illegal immigrant comes into this country and takes a job, he is taking an opportunity away from a U.S. citizen who just lost their job. They were born here, pay their taxes here, and raise their families here, yet they get passed over everyday for jobs.

Now we are in a position that we have to learn to speak Spanish to communicate. They have special TV programming, magazines, and newspapers. We have communities all over this great nation who came here as immigrants. They did so legally and at no time were there ever special considerations made for these individuals. Asians, Irish,Turkish, Italian, German, Vietnamese and so on. They came and they made a life for themselves and while doing that, they learned our laws and our language and they made a home for themselves in this country.

So you see, as I said before, I have no problem with anyone who wants to come to this country for a better life. I do, however, have a problem when they do it illegally and then the government in this country does nothing but give them a slap on the wrist. There's never a mention of the illegal drugs, the prostitution rings or even the repeated DUI arrests that you see everyday in the paper. But by allowing them free entrance into our country with no repercussions, they are allowed to believe that breaking the law is ok in the United States.
