Mexican illegals are coming to the US to immigrate not to invade. They are not pest that invade your home, but real people with hopes and dreams of a better life. To hear that Mexicans come to invade and kill off the people of the US shows me the ignorance and prejudice of the people who still live in this country. Don't different races have gangs that kill off people to this day of another race?! Not just Mexicans. Mexicans will work jobs that the American people are too proud too work. People of the US of all races would rather go on welfare and live in the streets and beg for money than to work in the fields for less than minimum wage and no benefits. Even the legals work for less then minimum wage and the wealthy field owners don't care that they have families they need to feed.

Crime and gangs come from poverty stricken areas which is usually a small percentage of every race's population. People who need a belonging to stick together and fight back for whatever reason...not just to take over America. The comment to take over America, is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever heard. Hundreds of people die everyday trying to make it to the US and after all the go through to make it here alive and the conditions they have to deal with...they almost deserve to be here. You will hear incidents of people from the US taking their money and then helping them over just to leave them to rot and die and we are talking about grandparents to children left in trucks and railroad cars in the heat locked in and the reason they are coming here is just for a better life...some deal, huh.

I believe the The Statue of Liberty still reads:

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these - the homeless, tempest-tossed - to me;
I lift my lamp beside the Golden Door"

I agree they should strive to become legal immigrants or have some sort of way where they can come here to work for that better life, not just get turned away. After all, we are the land of opportunity even though, they don't get very much. To say they are "invading" is a far stretch. Aren't we all descendants of immigrants in the US besides the Native Indians (who are still forced to live on reservations)? So who really has invaded who?
