The game worth playing
Colin, Jake and Tom were childhood friends and they were very popular in school because they came from a rich family. All of that ended when they're parents decided to go into business together. They bought a casino, in the first few months business was really slow, but they knew if they worked hard business would pick up and nine months after that business was booming. It was an ordinary day at the casino Jake's father Rick was talking to people who were playing poker. He met a guy called Albert. Rick introduces himself to Albert, after that they became good friends or so Rick thought.
One day Rick was at Albert's house Albert asked Rick if he would try something new Rick said yes he thought Albert was talking about playing tennis, but Albert had other ideas. He went to his room and came back with a lot of syringes and convinced Rick to inject himself with heroin Albert said come on Rick it is going to be a new experience just try it once. Rick didn't think it would do any harm so he tried it once, after that he was hooked.
The next day Rick showed up at Albert's house Rick asked Albert do you still some of the stuff for yesterday lying around Albert replied no I don't. I know someone who can get it for you, but it will cost you. Rick says its ok I will pay for it. Every day after that Rick came same time every morning to collect his drugs
Eventually he ran out of money to support his drug habit and he started taking money from the casino without telling his partners. Two months later Rick's partners discovered that there was money missing from the bank account. They thought Rick took the money for casino expenses; they asked Rick about it Rick lied and told them that he needed to pay the staff their salaries, Rick's partners believed him.
Rick promised himself he wouldn't steal from the casino ever again but the next day he went to the bank but the bank wouldn't accept his card because he didn't have money in his account and when he asked for a loan the bank wouldn't give it to him, because he already took out a huge when he decided to buy a steak in the casino and the bank was afraid he wouldn't be able to pay off his loan.
He went to another bank and took out another loan; he gave his house as collateral for the loan without telling his wife. His habit cost him two thousand dollars a day, everyday he withdrew two thousand dollars, which he never paid back compounded by the interest the banks were charging him, the amount became too big
