The Gift*
Feelings submerged in a sea of nothingness, vanishing yet proceeding
Focusing on them when appearing, left bleeding
Bleeding for a moment then appreciative they met me at this time
Tested to measure my degree like some fine wine
Maybe not today to excel, maybe not tomorrow
But this is a day I will remember, for it is given not borrowed
