Shelia on the other hand, Lord help her. How does an intelligent fearless woman become just another mousy battered woman with a son-of-a-gun husband that needs his ass beat for a change? I can't stand what he's done to her. Let's be honest I can't stand him either. Mr. always right very seldom bright. Mr. opens his mouth and nothing worth while comes out. Oh-he sees himself as the best thang that ever happened, not just to Shelia but to any other young thang that takes a five second glance and what's so bad bout it flirts right in front of Shelia. I don't know if she's capable of wiping her own ass anymore without a game plan from that man. I mean she looks to him for everything, except support. Mind you he's looking to her for that. Just like a man! His game plan was and is to seek out a woman whose doing well own her own, with position in the workplace and a hefty bank account so he can sit on his ass and run thangs. When was the last time this fool had a job? Not just hustling, but a real job? When did he ever run the household after a hard day's work? I can't even guess, but I guarantee that he makes her do it. A high powered attorney she is, bad ass in the courtroom too, can't imagine why she can't kick some butt at home. For the past several years he's put her out of her own home, used her as his personal bunching bag, gotten her pregnant only to miscarry, acted a drunken fool at her firms Christmas party, cheated on her with her college buddy and refused to work for longer than two weeks, because social services may make him pay for the three children he already has-ain't that some shit. We haven't talked now in nearly five months. She was forbidden to, cause he says we always trying to talk her against him. Damn straight! She can do bad by herself, she don't need no help for that. I ran into her at Wally World and she was talking that same old stupid stuff.
"Jonathan loves me; he's just a little too protective of me."
"Funny how that translates into I need protection from him. Sister any two times you wearing shade's in the daytime, in doors-something is wrong." I said.
"Look I know he's got some problems, but so do I. I say things or do things that make him angry and well-he flies off the handle, so what? Ain't like your marriage so perfect. Least I ain't like most females desperate to have a man. I got one."
"No, what you have is a boy pretending to be a man. Get a job, pay the bills, and give his woman some respect. Hell, man up. Then and only then
