Humor: Life
Several years ago a friend and I went on a trip. On the way to our destination, we spent one night at a casino. Now what you need to know, is I was still trying to impress this guy. We walked around, played a little blackjack and decided we would go to one of the restaurants in the casino.
As we were descending on the escalators, there were a group of people standing around. I just assumed it was a group traveling together and thought about it no more. My friend got off the escalators before I did and he grabbed my hand. I quickly let go and stood still. He walked a short distance, stopped and turned to look at me. By his look I could tell he was wondering what I had suddenly stopped for.
I looked at him and made a statement which indicated he was rude. Still not knowing what I was talking about, I told him to wait for me because I was going to wait for this man to take a picture. He turned up his eyes and started laughing. He laughed so hard his eyes were crying and he was turning red. For an instant I remained puzzled and finally realized the man was fake. When telling about the incident, it seems like it would have taken a while for all of this to take place. Actually, it took me about one and one half minutes for it to sink into my brain. I guess I was in a senior moment.
Do I have to tell you how I felt? I don't think I do. We laugh about that incident almost every time someone is taking a photograph. Neither he nor I say anything, we just look at each other and crack up.
