The republican leaders supported a war to get a mad man with weapons of mass destruction out of power. All Americans want to pull out of the war. This is the 21st century, we are use to going in and getting out. I do believe that most of the country was still in mourning when the vote from congress came through on the war. The attack on 9/11 was still fresh in our minds and the republican leaders had the best interest of the country in their hearts.

Now all that said, we have made some mistakes, big ones! The republican leaders have acknowledged this. I know that they want out but the question is how to accomplish this without disgracing the country. It is not easy to face your nation knowing that American men and women are being killed on a daily basis and nothing has happened to stop it. We need a change of action!

The republicans are not the only ones who supported the war in Iraq! At one time all Americans did and now all Americans want out! The Republicans know the war has gotten out of hand, we did our job in hope that the people in Iraq would do theirs. Do not mistake wanting to bring home the troops to not supporting the war anymore! The nation and congress under-estimated the insurgents there. The evil in Iraq is far more than any American can comprehend. They have no hope for themselves.

If a hand-full of republicans and democrats would sit and be civil to each other, with the best interest of our country and not their own agenda, good things would happen. I can tell you all the political folks who say they never supported the war are pulling your chain. I don't believe that a republican who is out to be re-elected will stop their support, if they do they won't get my vote! I think they are men of their word. Face the mistake, fix it and stand with support for our troops and the war we are all in together. If you play the flipflop game you're not a Republican!
