Rain is playful kisses in the sun
A mother, when rainbow hues are spun
A gentle tickle on morning flowers
Icy as pinpricks to one who cowers
Liquid emotion to wake up my soul
Holding no tears, just letting them roll
Sweet, clean tiny rivers all over me
Sparkles from heaven, silver and free
An airborn oasis for the touch
A refreshing respite needed so much
Nectar for our diminishing spirits
Soothing music for those who hear it
Blood in the veins for plants of the earth
Untimely comedian - bringing us mirth
Your scent is the purest breath from heaven
Sweet on my tongue, such joy you have given
