Is Life a Dream?
I have found myself in wonderment lately. What are each of us here for? What is our purpose on this earth? Are we here merely to get from point A to point B or is there more? Do our interactions, relationships and presence add anything to the mortal coil upon which we exist? Do we really matter as individuals, a society, or a race? Are we just "shadows & dust" to quote a favorite movies of mine? Is life really just a dream?
Most people probably consider such ruminations to be useless and pointless wastes of time. Some would consider it unimportant to even care. Furthermore, I would propose that some would rather not know the answer. They destroyed the boxes of the time and redefined thought.
I know as an individual that my life has been changed. I have met many wonderful, sweet, caring, and stimulating people in my journey through life. I have loved, lost, and loved again. I have been challenged in my beliefs. I have discarded some and re-enforced others. It is the journey itself that makes us whole. It is the knowledge gained through a lifetime of interaction that allows us to crash through walls and move mountains.
I am not about to say that everyone's importance to this communication and interaction is the same, but everyone does have an influence. Whether it is the homeless man that begs on the street of the conceited business man that cuts
