I happen to adore her. I bet you didn't expect that, but it is true. She is the way I like it, straight to the point. She is up front and backs up what she says with her experiences as a prosecutor. She never lets down and although, at times, her assumptions in various cases turn up contradictory to what the findings are, she manages to carry her own.In that case, just know that Nancy plays her role real well, regardless of what comes at her.
Take Johnny Cochran for instance. He wasn't the best defense attorney because OJ was 'found' innocent, but because he managed to get him off the hook. As a lawyer, you're not 'good' by being 'right'. You are 'good' because you win your cases. Nancy just knows what to say, how to say it and how to handle what comes back at her. When I was about 19, I wrote Nancy Grace a fan mail. I admired her and wanted to be just like her. Now? Well I don't believe in the death penalty, so I assume you know that I couldn't agree on all her beliefs and ideals now. She is definitely for the death penalty. I still LOVE her fire and her passion. I admire her for who she is, what she does and how she carries herself.
After her 10 year career of being a special prosecutor for Atlanta Fulton County District Attorney's Office, Nancy joined Court TV. She became anchor for the show 'Closing Arguments'. I was addicted to Court TV. It was all I watched and I made sure I watched Nancy's show. She became an English professor after the murder of her fiance. She has written several articles and law reviews. For ten years she assisted the Atlanta's Center for battered Women. Nancy taught business law and litigation at Georgia State University School of Law. From New York University, Nancy received her degree in constitutional and criminal law.
Throughout her anchor career, there are several occasions where Nancy seemed cold and arrogant, but that is who she is, a hard core cold prosecutor. You can't blame the woman, really. It's in her blood. She spoke out about the highly publicized celebrity cases, not to mention the well paid defense attorneys, in her book, Objection! Also, (according to reviews) she brings to the surface the lack of true justice in celebrity cases. When I get the book (and I am) I will write a review, so stay tuned.
