According to Irvin Baxter, the death of Saddam Hussein marked the end of the fifth trumpet found in the Holy Bible (Revelation 9:1). According to Baxter, Hussein was the great destroyer that is mentioned there.

There are seven trumpets found in the Holy Bible. If the fifth trumpet has sounded, well obviously there are two more to go. With that said let us take a closer look into this prophets opinions as he compares the current world events to Bible prophecy found in Daniel and Revelation. Also in other specified parts of the Bible

In his March/April issue of End Times, Baxter specifies that there are nine prophecies that will occur before the Battle of Armageddon begins. In no specific order I want to share these events with you.

According to the Book of Revelation 9:13-16, a war will occur in the River Euphrates, located in Iraq. Right now the United States have stationed along the Euphrates River, about 140,000 troops. Although people may think that the contention between the US and Islamic Fundamentalist is decreasing, it isn't. It is actually getting worse.

In the Confirmation of the Covenant found in Daniel 9:27 and Genesis 15:18, it is stated that the Antichrist and the International Community will grant Israel's right to exist in the land promised by God. The Prime Minister of Israel is making it his primary goal to gain support for Israel's final borders, by the international community. He hopes to accomplish this goal by the end of 2008.

In the book of Revelation 11:1-2 and II Thessalonian 2:3-4, it is stated that the Gentiles and the Jews will share the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Back in the year 2000, Bill Clinton suggested the sharing of the temple mount. They say it is the only possible solution to an ongoing dispute. They are looking forward to it being resolved.

Matthew 24:15-21 states that Judea will be a place of great tribulation. We also know this as the West bank. Olmert stated that he would withdrawal Israeli troops, but since has changed his mind. Either way the Bible clearly states there will be slaughter in Judea.

The Third Jewish temple is to be built on the Temple mount according to Revelation 11:1-2 and II Thessalonian 2:3-4. According to Baxter all of the furniture is complete. Israel couldn't begin the building of the temple until the red heifer was found. In 2005 they proceeded with the building of the temple, so they can continue with worship there.

When the Third Temple is complete it is said in II Thessalonian 2:3-4 that the Antichrist
