Where to find free online radio

On-line radio is a life-saver for anyone who spends much of their time working in front of a computer! It's also a wonderful source of new music and entertainment that anyone with a computer, internet connection and PC speakers can immediately access and enjoy.
Here are the top three, in my opinion:

1. Pandora
www.pandora.com

Pandora has an easy to use interface that allows you to pick and choose your own 'stations' by entering in any band or song title that you like. Once your station is created, Pandora will automatically play songs and artists that are similar in style or sound to the song or band that you entered. The best part is, you can create as many stations as you like!

2. Accuradio
www.accuradio.com

Accu radio is more of a traditional radio station, in the sense that the music on each of it's many channels is essentially chosen for you, with little input. However, Accuradio has a station for nearly every type and genre of music that you can think of. In fact, many of the stations have sub-stations which increase the specificness of the kinds of music you want to hear. Plus, Accuradio provides a list with each station of the artists that are played on that station. If there is an artist on the list that you really can't stand, they allow you to 'deselect' up to 10, I believe, and you won't have to hear them ever again on that station.

3. Live365
www.live365.com

Live365 is basically a search engine for thousands of free internet radio stations. You can imagine the possibilities! Nearly every type and variety of radio station is represented through their search. The only downside is that some of the stations require you to sign-up with them or enter in personal information to access the stream. Fortunately, this isn't the case for most that I have streamed, so I haven't found it to be much of an issue.

Hope that helps begin your discovery of the wonders of on-line radio!
