As a parent I try to set by example. I show my children a lot of love and only display behavior I feel appropriate. I have fun with my children and participate in all their activities. I take the time to really talk to them. We work together on homework and school projects and I always try to make a game out of learning so that it captures their attention and they really do learn. I turn the tables on them and have them play teacher. I know it is very important to raise a child with high self esteem because I didn't have it when I was growing up. For every little milestone my children accomplish I pay them the highest praise.
