The proposition that a single World Government might in some way lead the Earth to a future that isn't fraught with the same horrors that exist today is ludicrous. The history of our frail little planet is packed full with megalomaniacs that have attempted to do just that very thing. In every instance the most powerful empires bent on global domination have fallen by the way side, but never have they fallen before reeking some of the most amazing havoc in recorded history. It is a sure bet, however, that there will always be a group that insists that the single World Government is the correct and proper thing for our Earth and it is just as sure a bet they will always be wrong.

They gave us slavery as an institution and not just for one race, oh no, but for any race even their own Roman blood if the situation was right. They gave us blood sport, wars fought on every known continent by generals set on conquest in order to prove themselves glorious to the people of Rome and for the booty they could become rich and powerful from. They gave us senators that murder on the floor of the senate chambers and corruption on a monumental scale. And, it stands to reason, the Romans gave
